The memory foam is soft yet supportive, providing excellent neck support and preventing my head from falling to the sides while sleeping upright. Very comfortable and strong foam that doesnt deform too much. Some might not like that, but it's exactly what I was looking for to keep my neck straight. As others have mentioned, yep there is a strong chemical smell when you first open it up. I kept it in the garage for a day to off-gas, and havent smelled even a whiff of it since. The included eyemask is a joke. Flimsy and wouldnt trust that material around my eyes. Its just an extra to make it stand out against competitors, but its forgettable and the pillow by itself is worth the price here.
