In northern Germany, the Land Cruiser is even considered as a MTB tyre. Nevertheless, it rolls easily on the road. Level 3 K-Guard: Our minimum standard for protection belts. This Guard has been proven for many years. It consists of natural rubber and is reinforced with KEVLAR fibres. Together with the 50 EPI carcass all Active Line tires are well protected against punctures. Active Line: The basis for all Active line tyres is the high quality 50 EPI carcass. Schwalbe no longer produces tyres with a coarse 20 or 24 EPI carcass. In addition, K-Guard provides effective puncture protection for Active Line tyres. Features: Tyre Size: 700 x 40c Bead: Wire (Rigid) Colour: Black Suitable for: Hybrid, Urban and Commuter Bikes Puncture Protected Review: A great budget gravel tyre - I’ve loved Landcruiser tyres since way back in my Cyclocross days. Just a great reliable almost indestructible tyre - with a raised centre tread great for roads and great side tread for off-road and gravel. For use with inner tubes only - but I’ve never had a puncture in 20 years of use. Much better than most higher spec tyres in my humble opinion. Review: Excellent - Had these for a good few months now, holding up well, very easy to fit on the wheel. I will be buying again. ## Features - Pair of 700 x 40c bike tyres - K-Guard effective puncture protection - Suitable for hybrid, urban an commuter bikes - Wire bead - Comes with a pair of Presta valve inner tubes ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B076ZQXN48 | | Best Sellers Rank | 7,320 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) 13 in Tyres (Sports & Outdoors) | | Bike Type | Hybrid Bike | | Bike type | Hybrid Bike | | Brand | Schwalbe | | Brand Name | Schwalbe | | Colour | Multicolour | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 671 Reviews | | Included Components | Item | | Item Diameter | 700 Millimetres | | Item Weight | 2040 Grams | | Item Width | 4.2 Centimetres | | Item diameter | 700 Millimetres | | Item width | 4.2 Centimetres | | Manufacturer | Schwalbe | | Manufacturer Part Number | LANDCRUISER700X40CX2PRESTA | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Limited Warranty | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 47091/40/KIT-2T-2PV | | Number of Items | 2 | | Size | One Size | | Tensile Strength | 85 Pounds Per Square Inch | | Tread Type | Semi-Slick | | Tyre Type | Clincher | | Tyre type | Clincher | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Warranty Type | Lifetime | | Warranty type | Lifetime | | Wheel Size | 700 Millimetres | ## Product Details - **Bike type:** Hybrid Bike - **Brand:** Schwalbe - **Item diameter:** 700 Millimetres - **Item width:** 4.2 Centimetres - **Material:** Rubber - **Size:** 700 x 40c - **Tensile Strength:** 85 Pounds Per Square Inch - **Tyre type:** Clincher - **Warranty type:** Lifetime - **Wheel size:** 700 Millimetres ## Images ![Schwalbe Land Cruiser 700 x 40c Hybrid Bike Tyres with Presta Tubes (Pair) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71wi7lJwYNL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What make are the inner tubes?** A: Mine said IMPAC on them. Bit disappointed as I was expecting Schwalbe inner tubes **Q: What is the maximum psi on these please** A: It's not the inner tube that dictates the pressure but the what's on the side of the tyre, typically these would be between 70-90 for this size tyre/ inner tube **Q: Do they fit 28inch tyres???** A: They should do if the rims are classed as 622 **Q: What size are the tyres because mine are 28** A: 700 c is 28" They fitted my bike perfectly ! ! Seem like very good tyres so far !! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great budget gravel tyre *by S***B on 1 August 2026* I’ve loved Landcruiser tyres since way back in my Cyclocross days.
