    Really fun to use

I ordered this black sanded paper by mistake, but I already know that it's a lot of fun to paint pastels on black, and this paper will get a lot of use. Colors really "Pop" on black. The 400 grit holds several layers of pastels. One thing - you do need to find a way to store the paper and your finished work **flat**. The paper has a strong tendency to curl around the long axis. But that's not a big problem. This is great paper at a very reasonable price.

Uart is a favourite of mine for pastel even though it curls.  The black paper makes it easier if you’re doing an evening or night scene - it accepts many layers of pastel also so you can have depth in your painting!

I love this paper!  Never tried dark paper before and it really makes the colors pop. U-art is my favorite paper for pastels . The price is fair and because I cut it in half ( for 6x9  painting ) economical for me. Will definitely buy again.
