I have 3c curls and I like to use this product in conduction with a sea salt spray or a hair spray as it provides the texture my hair needs. This product provides wonderful slip for my curls and moistures them and controls frizz. If I use to much to get the gel cast, my curls can be limper so I do need to use a curl cream and other products I mentioned above and just had to figure out what worked for my hair. If I apply too much my hair is very moisturized and will tend to fall out quicker. I love that it has heat protection. I also only wash my hair weekly and I find I rarely need to refresh my curls!! But I think I am either lucky or figured out a system that works best for my hair. I leave the crunch in overnight (wash hair and dry in the evening). Wear a silk bonnet to bed and in the morning my curls with a little scrunch and fluff are just glorious! Day two hair is even more fabulous. After that it sort of maintains but does depend on what I do. I might need a little refresh in the front. A quality product that lasts for a real long time.
