My wife and I have used it hundreds of times, and have only had one or two "less than 5 star" experiences. One was where it "blonded" the fabric (user issue -- I didn't test it first, nor use the best procedure for spotting) which I believe was cotton (almost 90% of my clothing is either merino wool or a synthetic blend). The second was where it didn't get the spot out completely (I believe it was blood, and the stain had been there for at least a few days).
