**Q: how much is the weight of each?**
A: Maybe a pound. Unless you are using calibrated plates theres no need to worry about weight of the collars. You can also purchase the plastic quick release collars if you’re worried about weight. Typical basic steel/bumper plates can be +/- 15% difference in weight from the indicated weight. (Ex. A 45lb plate can be anywhere from 42-49 pounds)

**Q: Can this clamp tighten below 2 inches? I have a worn down bar and hoping this product will do the trick.**
A: I don't think so..but maybe

**Q: Is this good for 1.9 inch speciality bars?**
A: They should work just fine.

**Q: Is it comming in pair? Or need to purchase each?**
A: Come in a pair...they are terrible dont buy them...i returned them..i got olimpic clamps 2" on amazon they are great....i also bought n use IRWIN VISE-GRIP Original Large Jaw Locking Pliers, 12", 12L3..best clamps you can get for the money..i use them on my specialty bars because they are 1.9 inch not 2.0..itsxa clandestine method but works great..hope this helps

I needed this because one of my barbells had a slight ridge that made it too big for the similar style Ivanko collars.  These aren't as hefty as those collars, probably a quarter as heavy.  But they are more useful because they work on barbells with larger sleeves and specialty bars with smaller ones (e.g. a cambered bar I own).  And they lock down quicThese collars lock down quickly because once they are in place a half turn of the bolt is all that is needed to lock or unlock it.  It holds tighter than most other styles of barbell collars.  And you really can't beat the price.

    Rough but good

The finish on these is a little rough, but price to function is excellent. I use these on adjustable dumbells and on IWF spec bars for WL. No adjustment needed and infrequent tightening required. The rubber gasket between bar and point of pressure is what makes these function and grip so well. It will eventually wear out, but a new piece can be inserted if cut from bike innertube or something similar.

User friendly tightening mechanism/1" thick. Perfect for loadable OLY DB handles and specialty bars where sleeve space  is scarce. Protective inside metal band helps prevent sleeve scratches. fyi: applied a small amount '3 in 1 Oil' to the threads before 1st use. Photograph is of a 15" DB handle.Probably not best suited for heavy/high bumper plate drops.
