Just wondering as my current (broken) one doesn't have it.** A: It is for auto levelling, it's a small probe that measures the height of the bed in a few locations and then when printing uses that to calculate level printing. It does still fit your machine the same way and is compatible. **Q: how easy is it to fit do you have to do anything different** A: The old one clips off and the new one clips on, you take the PTFE tube out of the old one, fit it to the new one and it’s as easy as that.
