The fan isn't that impressive though unfortunately unless your venting it outside. We had to use a 4" carbon filter with ducting within the confines of the kitchen island for this to work and filter out smells, doing so reduced it extracting power as the filter reduced air flow. Overall great product though. ### ⭐ Doesn't even last 2 year *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 7 January 2022* I was so excited when I brought this extractor and thought it looked great with my new kitchen. It had really good suction although i would strongly recommend having it ducted outside rather than recirculating.Unfortunately, after having it installed for 1 year and 9 months and using it less than a handful of times a week it no longer raises up and therefore cannot be used.
