We decided to get this 270 degree awning for our SUV to up our camping and outdoor living experience and we could not be happier with it. Please note that your SUV will need a roof rack with cross bars installed in order to be able to mount this awning, which is quite long and heavy. It comes with mounting bracket that can be installed on the cross bars on the roof rack and you will definitely need a helping hand(s) and ladder to install it. It was delivered inside a box with very good packaging. I could not believe how heavy the box was but I wasn't surprised when I opened it and saw the quality and craftmanship of the awning and material. Once mounted and securely installed on the roof rack on the car, it's truly very easy open and set up the awning that will provide shades 270 degrees around the car for relaxing time away from UV and rain! All the parts are inside the zippered storage bag, which is mounted on the roof rack and after opening the zipper, you simply fold out the unit around the car. The retractable poles can be folded out from the awning itself then extended to provide support around the awning, which can withstand the strong wind. I love that it also has a built-in LED lights, which is provides lights at night with option to switch to orange light, which apparently does not attract bugs (perhaps they are color-blind?). It would have been awesome if there was an option to attach mosquito net on the awning so that we can stay under the awning at night with the lights on without having to worry about bug bites. I'm hoping that they will make the mosquito mesh net attachment in the future as they have few other add-ons for this awning. Having this awning opened around my car was amazing at the camp ground. We moved the picnic table under the awning and instantly got cool shaded area to sit down and eat when there were no trees around the car. I can see other campers looking at our car with jealousy and some even came over to take a closer look and asked me about the awning. Having this much shaded area away from sun and rain makes a huge difference in outdoor. We recently also used this awning at a church parking lot during the annual bazar where I volunteered to setup a hotdog stand to sell for fundraising. This awning was a hit with a big sign attached from top to bottom and I was able to cook and serve hot dogs under the shade all day. I love their rooftop tent and I'm now seriously considering purchasing that as well, although we are a family of 5 people so we have a huge tent that can fit 6 people comfortably but the rooftop tent looks so cool and would be great for cross country road trip with my wife or for my son who's in college. This company really knows how to make products for car roof tops and I'm really impressed with their product, especially this 270 degree awning, which is really easy to setup and to pack up! Review: Customer Service, top notch! - Outstanding customer service that gets back to you immediately, and a great product. You will enjoy this 270° Anwing for sure!!! ## Features - No Legs, Just Pure Stability: Let’s be real—who has time for awkward leg setups or constant adjustments? The Pivot Axis Hinge System lets your awning stand completely all on its own. It’s built to hold strong even in wind picks up to 18.6 mph, keeping it stable, steady, and sag-free. Unlike other awnings that need constant tweaking, ours stays put no matter how strong the wind blows. So you can kick back and relax without worrying about the weather. - One-person Setup: If you’ve ever spent too much time setting up camp, this one’s for you. Thanks to the central hub and lightweight arms, you’ll have your awning up and running in just one minute. Solo adventurers, this is your dream setup: quick, easy, and stress-free. No extra hands required, just grab the 180°awning, unfold it, and enjoy the outdoors in no time. - Big Coverage, Bigger Comfort: You’re not just getting an awning, you’re getting a whole 118.4 ft² of space and 180°coverage to move around. Cook, relax, or set up your sleeping area without feeling cramped. And those built-in daylight white LED lights? They’re perfect for evenings around camp, giving you soft light without tangled wires. They are integrated into the 180° freestanding awning’s arms, keeping them neat and make your life easier. - Tough Enough for Anything: The powder-coated aluminum alloy arms and stainless steel hardware are made to last, and the 600D double-ripstop Oxford fabric is waterproof with 3,000mm rating and UPF 50+ protection to keep you dry. The 1,680D Oxford fabric travel cover adds an extra layer of protection, so you don’t have to worry about the elements when you pack it away. Whatever nature throws your way, this 180° car awning can handle it. - Fit it Right, Every Time: Whether you’ve got an SUV, van, or 4x4, this 180°awning mounts on both sides and fits most racks or crossbars. The adjustable mounting brackets let you set the right height—whether you need to squeeze under a low door or raise it up for more headroom. And with guy ropes, straps, and pegs included, you can rest assured that it’ll stay put. And a 2-year warranty also serves as a testament to its quality assurance. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0F8BG68VR | | Best Sellers Rank | #709,615 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #256 in RV Awnings | | Brand | SAN HIMA | | Brand Name | SAN HIMA | | Color | Cloud Gray | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 82 Reviews | | Fabric Type | 600D Double-Ripstop Oxford | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 102.4"D x 5.7"W x 4.3"H | | Item Weight | 61.3 pounds | | Manufacturer | SAN HIMA | | Manufacturer Part Number | SH-AW-180XL-US | | Material | Aluminum Alloy, Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Aluminum Alloy, Stainless Steel | | Model Number | SH-AW-180XL-US | | Number of Items | 1 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Dimensions | 102.4"D x 5.7"W x 4.3"H | | Size | 180° 118 ft² Universal Side | | Style Name | Modern | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SAN HIMA - **Color:** Cloud Gray - **Item Weight:** 61.3 pounds - **Material:** Aluminum Alloy, Stainless Steel - **Size:** 180° 118 ft² Universal Side ## Images ![SanHima 180 Awning Free Standing, 118.4 sq.ft Vehicle Awning for SUV Truck - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51rl7deUo7L.jpg) ![SanHima 180 Awning Free Standing, 118.4 sq.ft Vehicle Awning for SUV Truck - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71yXXepgjjL.jpg) ![SanHima 180 Awning Free Standing, 118.4 sq.ft Vehicle Awning for SUV Truck - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/711c2hIjBuL.jpg) ![SanHima 180 Awning Free Standing, 118.4 sq.ft Vehicle Awning for SUV Truck - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61VLXRgadGL.jpg) ![SanHima 180 Awning Free Standing, 118.4 sq.ft Vehicle Awning for SUV Truck - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ii+3Hj2aL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ perfect for camping and outdoor events *by W*** on July 26, 2024* Our family enjoys camping trips and driving to lake and mountains for outdoor activities. You will enjoy this 270° Anwing for sure!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ No drop down legs *by E***R on April 2, 2026* Great fit and function. However, the description said that it had fold down legs. The model I received did not come with the built in fold down legs. Kinda disappointed in that. Other than that I love it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sanhima 180 Awning Free Standing Built-in LED Light, 84 ft² Shelter Car Side Waterproof UV50+ Wind Resistant, Driver Passenger Side, 180 Degree Vehicle Awning for SUV Van Truck - SanHima Camping Fan with LED Light - 20000mAh Rechargeable Battery Powered Portable Fan w/ 360° Rotation Hook, 4 Speed Oscillation Cordless USB Desk Fan for Tent Travel Home Office Beach Fishing - SanHima Awning Shower Tent with Roof - Car Side Shower Room w/LED Light, Camping Waterproof Portable Privacy Shelter Bathroom Overland, Gray --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/639668034-sanhima-180-awning-free-standing-118-4-sq-ft-vehicle](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/639668034-sanhima-180-awning-free-standing-118-4-sq-ft-vehicle) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
