Marine 16 Diesel Treatment DFC is a multifunctional diesel additive designed to enhance fuel quality by increasing cetane number, cleaning injectors, and protecting against oxidation and sludge formation. Ideal for ULSD and biodiesel blends, it ensures premium fuel performance and prolonged engine life in a convenient 100ml to 1 Litre range.

## Description

A multifunction diesel additive blended in the UK to counteract the problems of using ULSD, Biodiesel and storing fuel. DFC is similar to the additives used in premium fuels offered by the oil majors on the forecourts. It has a Cetene improver, a lubricity improver and a detergent specifically to keep the fuel system clean. Additionally, particularly in Marine, it is also necessary for the additive to help against the problems with stored fuel so an antioxidant and biocide is also added to the blend. Designed for continuous use every time you fill the tank. Dose rate is 100ml per 100 Litres

This is a superb product, I use it every time I fill my Narrowboat, protects the engine and Eberspacher heating system, not cheap but far cheaper than a major breakdown and fuel system clean.

Had been having an intermittent splutter with my narrow boat engine when going for a few more revs. Had the diesel cleaned then added the marine 16 (100mil) to a full tank of fuel. Run for 30 minutes or so and heard engine getting quieter and smoother. It's now running like a top through all speeds without the miss. Bought enough for 5 top ups so worth the investment.
