Whatever's in it, my hair joyfully guzzled it up.I have a section of gray coming in at my temples; parts are wiry, poking out at all angles; others are flat and straight, as if I'd taken an iron to them. I sprayed these sections especially heavily, and I've got to say, they instantly began to curl up into loose corkscrews, the gray wires more or less behaving.In the pics I posted, my hair is still quite wet; I was scrunching the heck out of it, preparing it for its routine air dry--and I noticed there wasn't a trace of stickiness or tack; it just felt soft and really, REALLY conditioned. I also noticed the fragrance; a fresh, high-end hair product smell. Not fruity (which I personally hate) but clean.I've been transitioning to naturally curly (from daily blow dry maven) over the course of a few years. It's a process, figuring out what works for you and your unique head of curls. I appreciate Xtava offering sample sizes, because you never know what's going to ring your bell--or sound a gong--and hair products are way too expensive to be buying 8 or 10 ounces of enticing but very possibly unsuitable mystery potion.So I definitely recommend giving the trial size a go, see what you think of it. I have 4 different curl formations in different places all over my head, and it appears to be doing wonders for all of them; it might well do the same for you. I like the bottle and the ability to spray in my leave-in conditioner rather than use my hands from a pour bottle, as that gets too much and can make hair look greasy. A little goes a long way and it smells really nice, not too powerful or overwhelming.
