But without the subwoofer, I could hear the bass guitar in the music. They are well worth the price. They are also easy to set up. I really like the connectors on the back because I could use the banana plugs that were on my speaker wires.

These speakers are very clear and have decent bass for the size. I like big bass, so I use them with a subwoofer. But without the subwoofer, I could hear the bass guitar in the music. They are well worth the price. They are also easy to set up. I really like the connectors on the back because I could use the banana plugs that were on my speaker wires.

Nice little speakers. Comparable in size and sound to the micca mb42x. Own their big brothers as well. The b65s had some build quality issues but these b40s were pretty good. Overall nice, cheap, attractive, speakers for the price. Not gonna blow anyone away with bass. Would be best suited for a nearfield setup like a PC desk or maybe some height channels in a ht.
