I really like the designs and the rhinestones added that little something extra to the lace. However, as soon as I put the gloves on my granddaughter, the strap that was supposed to hold the gloves in place on her hand broke so, that caused me to try and find another piece of small ribbon (cut a piece from the string used to tie them on her arm) and poke a hole in the lace so that the ribbon could be pushed through and tied on the inside of her hand to keep it in place. My suggestion would be to put maybe a stretchy rubber type lace for that particular area.
