I needed a good camera that took up a minimal amount of space, and this fits the bill beautifully.* The camera and accessories arrive in really solid, good quality packaging (think iPhone standard), and fitting the device in your car is simple.* There is a comprehensive instruction manual (NOT in the best Queen's English, but I've seen far worse - and it was quite understandable)* The video quality is superb. Disappointingly, the video clip I've added is really pixelated on the review... but please be assured it is not like this in real life - it's crystal clear. I've left it on just to show how much of the road can be seen.POINTS TO NOTE:-* You will also need to purchase a MicroSD card in order to store the videos. I chose ScanDisk Ultra 32GB.* The camera is held onto the windscreen by a suction cup and a 3M double-sided sticky disc. I originally tried using just the suction cup, but found that the camera would fall off once hot sun warms the screen. I can honestly say, I was not disappointed. The video quality is great.It came with Chinese language settings, so had to read through the manual and change language to English. Manual is brief but has all the necessary functions explained. All the accessories included, and I only had to use my existing micro sd card. It should be class 10 according to the user manual and I’ve used Toshiba U1 32GB micro sd card. Later I bought Toshiba U3 card specifically for this and both are working fine. There is a suction cup as well as high quality double sided tape. But I’ve used only the suction cup and it still holds very well without any issues.The unit powers on automatically when the car is started and starts to record. I have the option to set how much time each file should contain (default was 3 minutes and I’ve set it to 10 minutes). Once the SD card is full, it will delete the oldest file and save the current one. I can easily lock the file from overwriting using buttons when necessary (locked files will not be deleted). When I turn off my car, the unit switch off automatically in couple of seconds. In the meantime, if it senses a shock, it will start recording using it’s internal battery power. I can change shock sensitivity as well as motion detection as required. There are many more functions available and set, but I’ve only used default features.I’m using this dash cam for about 3 weeks now and so far it is great. Will update this in the future if there are any issues. I’ve uploaded a captured video as well, hoping that someone will benefit from it. The reviews so far are positive so gave it a try.It's sold by MiniShark but on the box it says Old Shark so unsure as to if they are the same company. It comes in a nicely packaged box, reminded me of mobile phone packaging. The box itself contains the dash cam, windshield mount, car charger, data usb cable and a manual. It does not however come with an SD card which you will need to record footage. So keep this in mind. I do audio and video work so I had a spare one.It's well designed and compact (about 9 cm wide and 5 cm height). It does have a plastic feel to it but is sturdy and well made. The USB port is on the top side which allows for better cable management inside of the car rather than in the bottom where the cable would just have to drop down.Setting up the cam was very easy and the manual goes through all the features, functions and steps that you would need. So you will not get stuck on how to use it unless you receive a defective unit.The video capture itself is wide angle as advertised and of good quality. When I initially turned it on, it was set to chinese language but quick glance at the manual and I set it up to English in no time.
