Using the attachment works to do the job, but you still might need to put the mini heat gun closer for a flush seal at the open ends of the heat shrink. It does not take very long to warm up and the size is perfect for smaller projects. You don’t need to buy a name brand heat gun when a quality product like this exists for a more affordable price. My father was sleeping in the other room and did not hear me using the heat gun at all. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone working with heat shrink, etc.

Does not get hot. Protects the hot metal from touch really well. Preformed nicely for on and off operations over a 45 min period.

This deserves a 5 star rating, because of how easy it is to use and it didn’t wake anyone up at night. Using the attachment works to do the job, but you still might need to put the mini heat gun closer for a flush seal at the open ends of the heat shrink. It does not take very long to warm up and the size is perfect for smaller projects. You don’t need to buy a name brand heat gun when a quality product like this exists for a more affordable price. My father was sleeping in the other room and did not hear me using the heat gun at all. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone working with heat shrink, etc.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, but slow to heat

It does the job, and maybe appropriately for work being done in the house at a desk. I don’t want to use my full heat gun in the house on my desk and wanted something smaller for more delicate tasks such as fixing power cords. It takes a long time to truly heat up and shrink the heat shrink. It took me roughly 30 minutes to splice solder shrink and then over shrink a power cord for a utility pump.
