I couldn’t resist getting this one once I saw it go on sale for about $36. I have been slowly reading through it, and it is chocked full of so much information. I have already beat Shadow of the Erdtree multiple times, so I don’t need this guide as much as I just wanted it. I am happy to report that it’s a well written guide with most information included. Considering I’ve beaten the game numerous times, I can say that this guide book would be very helpful to someone who is brand new to the game. It is also a must-have for huge Elden Ring fans like myself. The amount of time and energy put into this book is commendable. The artwork is incredible and vibrantly detailed. The pages feel nice in my hands. They are thick enough to where it feels like it can handle a little wear, but not too thick either. The map of the Realm of Shadow is very cool too. It comes separate, so you could hang it as a poster if you’d like. One side of the map is unlabeled, and the other side is labeled with all points of interest. Every little piece about this guide book is extremely well thought out and detailed. I even enjoy that they added a section that offers some new build ideas for SotE, and the small chapter of concept art. There are some things included that even veteran players like myself can find new and interesting. I highly recommend this to any Elden Ring fans. Especially get it while it’s still on sale. Once these books sell out , people try to resell them for exorbitant prices. Just look at the first two volumes of the Elden Ring guide. They are all over resale sites for at least over $100, if not a few hundred dollars. Get the third and final volume while still can for a reasonable price. True Elden Ring fans won’t regret it. I also want to note that I didn’t experience any issues with shipping. I’ve seen many people complain that their books came damaged from shipping, and that is completely on desertcart anyway for not packaging books securely. I had no issues though, and mine came in a proper box meant for shipping books. It showed up on my steps in the box, wrapped in plastic wrap stil, and completely protected and in mint condition. Maps of the dungeons showing the layout. That is so helpful! It is not a walkthrough. It is an explanation of everything with tons of maps of every area, where every boss is location etc. But you are still on your own to find your way. After all, you are a tarnished... Honestly, it's so much better than trying to piece together lore or find item stats by scrolling through cluttered, ad-filled wikis online.
