Easy to hold and don't need to much pressure to make a mark. He'll pick these over felt tips any day. I liked that they are natural and didn't worry when he was putting them in his mouth. Good chunky size for tiny hands to grip & box contains range of colours. A few appear to look different shade but very similar on paper e.g light blue and dark blue appear same shade on paper. Slight beeswax smell to them (not unpleasant).
