If I'd paid more these would have been received a lower star rating.. I wanted some very cheap back rests that hold the rod firm and they definitely do.Overall they do the job you want, sure build quality and materials ain't in the same league as expensive solar ones but you get what you pay for and for 3 I think these are pretty dam good value. Ordered these as I use both cork handled rods (slightly wider) and slim blank handles. These I'm happy to say do both. Easily unscrew side caps and remove or add a small spacer, these are supplied with the rest.
