Unfamiliar with this design.** A: Because this is a turkish style tea set in which you can boil the water in the big kettle and brew the tea in the above small kettle. After brewing, you can adjust the density of the tea by mixing the two while filling the cups. **Q: How many cups if using Turkish tea glasses?** A: The top pot makes .5l of tea concentrate which is diluted 2:1 or more. So it will make 1+l of tea and my Turkish tea glasses hold about 125ml - so I would say about 8. I keep adding water from the bottom to the top and refill the bottom occasionaly and drink tea all day - add a pinch of leaves if it is getting weak. It is bottomless when used this way. **Q: Does the handle get hot?** A: Actually if you directly put the handle over the cooker, every handle will get hot.
