Clarke WE6490 Arc 95E Welder

I use this welder with all my welding needs. I welded floor pans in my car, doing body work with it, I even made my own tools with this welder. And going to use to fix a trailer. Works best with gas, definitely recommended.

This is a great welder for the money. The craftsmanship is solid and the welder performs as well as any I've used (Miller, Lincoln). Buy a cart, this thing is heavy.

Tried to use welder to tack weld some broken steel patio tables. Was not strong enough to do this simple task. Had to return and purchase a "real" welder. Would not recommend.

short whip. No plug in with it.

When I opened the item, I discovered that the amp indicator, which was made of plastic had been broken off inside the unit.

bought welder to fix my sons broken 4 wheeler that a local welding shop wanted 150 bucks to fix. Worked great and since have tackled lots of little progects and lots more planed.

retune would not work

Very nice welder, it makes nice welds. It took me a while to get the hank of it, but after I did, my welds are looking very nice. I'm doing auto body work with and I tell, the best investiment I've ever did after my shop air compressor!
