Made from our own grown, finest quality Chocolate Habanero Chillies. The mighty chocolate habanero chilli has a heat rating from anywhere between 425,000 and 577,000 SHU (Scoville Heat Units) making it quite a feisty chilli. The Chocolate Habanero has a rich flavour, balanced against it's floral aroma. Whilst it's a hot chilli, it's by no means overpowering. It's flavour profile and heat means that it's ideally suited to be used to spice up South American dishes and pasta dishes. Alternatively, simply mix small quantities into milder condiments such as mayonnaise, guacamole or pesto to spice them up. The Habanero chilli is thought to originate from the rainforest from which it spread towards Mexico. One of the earliest Habanero plants found in Peru is around 8500 years old. An excellent gift for any chilli enthusiast. Our Chocolate Habanero chilli puree can be used sparingly to add a trident punch to your cooking or why not use it as a base to make your own hot sauce? Our high-quality chillies are sourced from reputable and ethical suppliers, with full traceability. The chillies are grown in Senegal, the UK and Spain and imported to Hampshire specifically for us. The salt we use is a pure unadulterated sea salt from the Atlantic ocean, sourced from a UK supplier. There's no iodine or anti caking agents involved. The vinegar is from an established UK producer.
