Review: Great product with some modification. - Great product for the price. Drilled 630 holes in 4-1/2", 1/4" wall fence posts, using ten of these bits. So an average of 63holes per bit, with one bit lasting 105holes! Used a jig, no pilot bit. Drilled at different angles between 0 and 15 degrees. Mag drill at 850rpm, 61mm hole saw, anchor lube solution for cooling and moly paste inside the bit for reduced chance of the slug getting jammed. Three-sided shanks were breaking off, ended up turning pilot bit bushings to 5/8" diameter to use in chuck. Work piece clamping is most important to prevent bit damage.
Review: Did The Job in Seconds! - This works perfectly! We needed a second hose pass-through in our metal lanai screen door. We have a very simple Black and Decker drill and it attached easily. Within seconds the job was done. We also bought a plastic grommet to cover the sharp edge. (New hole is on the left in the picture.)

Great product for the price. Drilled 630 holes in 4-1/2", 1/4" wall fence posts, using ten of these bits. So an average of 63holes per bit, with one bit lasting 105holes! Used a jig, no pilot bit. Drilled at different angles between 0 and 15 degrees. Mag drill at 850rpm, 61mm hole saw, anchor lube solution for cooling and moly paste inside the bit for reduced chance of the slug getting jammed.
