It was in sad shape and I was prepared to accept defeat. I decided to buy a grow lamp and the last time I looked the options were pretty much in the fluorescent lamp theater which is an index to how long it has been. A little searching on Amazon, however, turned up this LED solution as well as many others. I picked this one based on price and the fact that it just screws into a regular lamp socket. My problem was that now I had a plant whose chances of survival were iffy and a grow light technology which I was unsure of so if the plant withered away I would not know which has been the cause. As it turned out, the plant appears to be thriving... greenness is showing up everywhere. I guess that is pretty dramatic proof of the lamp's efficacy... at least for me. I am a happy camper. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend - Very impressed - Great Results! *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2019* Light arrived quickly, I was concerned that there was no support packing in the shipping box. The light's own box held the bulb securely but that box slid around freely in the packing box. The bulb is well made and works great! It is brighter than I expected. I purchased it for my tropical bonsais for the indoor winter months. My pots take up about 9 sq ft. - lamp set about 18" away. All my plants are doing phenomenal! I was surprised my ficus didn't drop any leaves as they can be fussy when you move them - they started new leaf buds in a week. My sarissas went into bloom in 4 days. I was amazed! *And to address a another's review - we have a wifi network and satellite TV and have had zero issues and the lamp is in close proximity and on the same electric circuit. ### ⭐⭐ Does ANYONE tell the truth about the wattage of their LED fixtures? *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2021* Here's some fun facts:Okay, 2835.SMD LEDs (the ones in this bulb) are rated at 0.2 watts each- 1/5th of a watt. Meaning every 5 LEDs equal ONE WATT. So 150 LEDs x 1/5th of a watt, or 0.2 watts equals 30 Watts. That's just basic math there.Then these LEDs are just chips on a board- no glass magnifiers or any beam focusing technology (I WISH) so the light coming from them, unavoidably, shines out at 180 degrees. That's just common sense. 160 at the very least, not 30 whatever stated. These are NOT magnified or focused beams. Again- I WISHI think people buying these have a pretty good idea on how many watts they need to get the job done so when you LIE to them it becomes very difficult. Having to weed out false advertisers shouldn't be part of shopping on Amazon and places like this. False advertising is actually ILLEGAL in the U.S.AI have to research every damn light I buy off here and its TIRING. I got no problem buying Chinese lights but if all you do is lie then...
