So as soon as it arrived me and Dave went out for a walk. It's a good length and strong and I really liked it. I got home and hung the lead up at the bottom of the stairs. Today I went out for 2 hours and when I got back Dave had shredded the lead! I didn't even have it 24 hrs and he chewed through it. Now don't get me wrong if I'd put it away somewhere Dave couldn't get to it (it appears a safe is the only thing he can't get into/through at the moment), the I'm sure it would have done me well for years. It is better than rough nylon or hard leather.CARABINER: my Samoyed was always trying to walk me, strong carabiner is a must, but it seems to be so hard to find. When i get it, i was actually satisfied with the carabiner, and it's big enough to loop around and clip onto the actual lead itself. No problem! Because the lead has a little elastic to it the lead automatically checks the dog when he pulls which is great.
