However it doesn't hold to sweet gerkin or bread and butter pickles. As you can tell from the pictures it only glitters the juice. You can sprinkle the glitter directly onto the pickles and it sticks. It's very easy to use however the glitter goes everywhere when you sprinkle it. It's a great little bottle for the money. I would say it mixes well but I've only mixed it in pickles so what can I really say? I really forgot I was a Gen-X kid with adult money and I could buy things like this. I just wanted sparkly pickles. Also it was this glitter or buy new baby chicks and I thought this would be cheaper. So take my advice and buy this wonderful bottle of edible glitter and put some sparkle on your life. Also I have no idea what glitter taste like so I can't describe the taste of this glitter. I really have nothing to compare it too. Update day 4: Let the glitter sit in pickles and they do come out sparkly. The last photo is after they sat for the 4 days.
