I did so because their product was good and lasted. These collar stays are every bit as good as those for less than half of what you’d pay at most any suit store and you get far more. That’s good for me, because I tend to loose them over time. Which brings us right back to cost, at this price point it’s no problem to reorder a box of these in the future if needed. I bought these so I could use them with neodymium magnets to hold my dress shirt collars up. I also like that the overall product quantity of 26 shirt stays is less than other options on Amazon. Since I’m only ever wearing one shirt at a time and I take the shirt stays out of the shirt after use, I don’t see a reason for needing to own more than 13 pairs of shirt stays (but that’s just me).
