I've gotten others to do theirs, too. My nice wasn't sure why she needed it until I installed it on her TV and she realized how cool it was to have at night. The colors are amazing. The flexibility of color schemes is really awesome and it really helps with eye strain in a dark room while watching anything with big contrast between darks and lights. You don't realize how much eye strain is involved with watching TV in a dark room until you have the back-lighting turned ON. The eye relief is amazing. Some might notice more than others, but for the two of us in our house, we absolutely notice when the back-lighting is off. The Govee app has amazing controls, too. You can connect with both Bluetooth and Wi-fi on Govee products which has been great. I can be anywhere in the house and be able to control any of the Govee units. Plus, there's a timer setting so you can set lights to turn on or off at a specific time of day (or multiple times a day depending on the application). I can't say enough good about Govee produccts.
