I tried snacks but that didn't seem to do anything, plus she has never been too keen on eating. After using this for 5 days or so, I couldn't smell her meows anymore and her gums look less inflamed as well. She's an extremely docile cat and will let me manipulate her as long as I have a hand on her, but I could see how this could be really messy for a less cooperative cat. It's kind of sticky when it dries and if your pet likes to shake, it gets everywhere. I suggest keeping a tissue nearby when using this to wipe off any excess that might end up dripping from the sides of their mouths or any target inaccuracies. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Rinse *by T***Z on Reviewed in the United States on September 14, 2011* I have 2 Italian greyhounds, which are a breed notorious for bad teeth. I use this rinse after brushing and it visibly seems to help out their gums. One of my iggies had to have his 2 front teeth pulled due to an injury. We watched carefully for almost 3 months to see if his gums would heal before when we finally chose to get the teeth pulled.
