For best results, it should be applied 2 or 3 times daily. I mainly use it on my scalp. I’ve only been using it for a short time, so I'm not sure about any long-term healing properties yet.

This was my first purchase of this product. Reading other reviews, most of them comment on the smell. They got that right! It is horrible! I'm not used to the pine tar smell. I'm not sure I can get over it. If you know this before you make the purchase then it won't come as a surprise. It's not for the faint....the smell. Peeee ewwww!
