Hopefully this helps you. **Q: Can this be installed upside down opening to the outside like an awning?** A: It could be installed upside down to the outside, but then you’d have to go outside to open it. Love ya ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ perfect fit *by M***N on January 27, 2025* This product is orginially made for glass block, however I framed it out with 2x4's and mounted it in the wall between a bathroom and bedroom. if you are mounting it between two rooms, the window fits perfectly with the framed 2x4's but you will have a 1/2 inch recess on each side of the wall because of the thickness of the drywall (the window will not sit flush on both sides of the wall). This can be solved with 1/2" quarter round molding- to trim out the recessed area. I used additional trim molding on the outter edges to give it a finished look.
