This ''Rope Grab" is definitely MADE FOR the kind of job that roofing is where you need to 'descend' from time to time while it otherwise serves as a solid positioner. Excellent tool!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: The description says wire rope but it looks  like most people use it for regular rope. Is it designed for standard rope?**
A: Yes. It can be used with 5/8"  regular rope for fall protection.

**Q: Can the rope grab be attached mid rope or must it slide up from the bottom?**
A: You have to feed the rope through the bottom (or top).  I have seen rope pulleys which separate in the middle to allow mid-rope attachment, but not a grabber.

**Q: Can I use this on a 1/2 climbing rope without wanting to slip or anything**
A: No.   order one that states its for 1/2" rope.  This is for 5/8" rope.  It won't grab enough

**Q: Do these work on polypropylene rope?**
A: Of course they do but it all boils down on what material made rope do you prefer and what you trust we use them with polyester it’s just a preference and what application it’s being used for

The Fusion rope grabber is easy to use, holds very well when I am climbing trees and is a good product for the price. This is the second one I have purchased and if I need more I will definitely buy the Fusion brand.
