They are completely useless. The surface is hard and offers no give. Kneeling on them, in fact, is quite painful. I bought them because a few people who supposedly had knee replacements gave good reviews. I don't understand how this is possible. Don't waste your money. The are a nice size for fitting under knees or elbows for doing planks or Pilates, etc. Pretty nice cushion too. Fairly well made. But they slip on my exercise mat.
