## Description

TriboTEX is a synthetic nanomaterial that coats your engine. Use TriboTEX reduces your car's fuel consumption, extends the life of your engine and protects the environment by reducing CO2 emissions. tribotex is a revolutionary breakthrough in motor coating technology. Conceptually, the technology is directly radiated. However, the material of science is very sophisticated; developed synthetic nanosheets are designed to be smooth on one side, textured on the other side. During normal engine operation, when these are added to oil, nanosheets adhere to metal surfaces (sticky side down), forming a coating of particles with the smooth sides facing outward. After 500 miles of normal driving, the internal components are coated with a smooth, lubricating tribofilm and show excellent embeddability and oil retention. The smooth surface contains selected catalysts, incorporated by design to build a diamond-like carbon (DLC) cap on the top. Originally, these self-assembly coatings were developed to improve the performance of the gearbox under the grueling demands of wind turbines. The tribotex platform was developed with $1 million in support for research and development from the National Science Foundation and NASA.

Review: Very good results - I added tribotex into the engine oil of my 2010 Volvo xc90 3.2 petrol in December 2025 at the 300k mile mark, and the car has been quite reliable the whole time over the last 7 years that I owned it and put 200k miles on odometer in the process, but it started consuming more oil past the 150k mile mark. Probably 1L per 1500 miles, which is quite a lot. Tribotex definitely reduced the engine noise at idle. So far I drove the car for 3500miles and only put 1.5L of oil in. It would have been 2.5L or so otherwise. Seems to be working out quite well.

**Q: Give me one good reason to pay this price when I can get a bottle of seafoam and obtain the same results for 1/5 the price?**
A: TriboTEX and Seafoam are different types treatments. Seafoam is aimed at cleaning carbon deposits off your engine and is mostly alcohol. TriboTEX builds a protective and wear reversing diamond-like carbon coating on the moving parts in your engine, extending its life and improving its performance. The synthetic nanomaterial in TriboTEX was designed and tested with grants from the National Science Foundation and NASA. It is a highly complex technology and the only thing of its kind on the market. 

Using TriboTEX can also pay for itself in the potential fuel savings you will see over 40,000 miles of driving, which is our recommended treatment interval.

**Q: how often does this need to be added?**
A: Every 40,000 Miles Put it in right after your next oil change. It bonds to engine parts and survives next oil changes up to 40k. It reduced my engine noise in my 1990 Landcruiser with 220k Miles

**Q: Can you use this on a motorcycle with a wet clutch?**
A: Yes you can use it in motorcycle it will not affect wet clutch.  You will need about half of this syringe ~ 10 ml or get Small engine edition which is smaller volume sized for motorcycle and easier to apply to the smaller oil filler hole in motorcycles.

**Q: Can you use this on a new 2018 car?**
A: On a new car you need the engine to break in. I would stick to whatever the factory recommends to use for at least 10-15 thousand miles.

Having a 2006 Subaru Outback LL Bean 3.0 , with miles and memories stacking up. I was skeptical but hopeful about TriboTEX. I'm thrilled to say it has exceeded all my expectations!
