Bluestone Rise pH Test Strips offer a comprehensive solution for measuring acidity and alkalinity with precision. Each pack contains 800 strips, independently tested for color matching accuracy, ensuring reliable results for all your testing needs. ## Description

Instructions for use:Tear one strip from the book. Apply the solution to be tested to the end of the strip. The preferred method is to use an eye dropper for this process. Dipping the strip into the solution can dilute the chemicals and can result in inaccurate colour readings. Immediately after the solution has been applied to the strip, compare and match the change in colour to align with a corresponding colour shade on the colour chart inside the book. Once the colour has been matched to the chart, read off the number and this is the approximate pH of the solution being tested. Note: If any of the solution being tested bleeds out onto the colour chart when making the match, immediately wipe this surplus off with a tissue or rag. Contamination of other strips in the book can occur if the book is closed with solution remaining on the colour chart.Each strip can be used multiple times. Simply cut or tear off the solution affected zone and store for future use. Always keep stored out of sunlight and in a dry, moisture free environment.

     These pH test strips are very useful for measuring pH in any liquid. As you can see in the video the white apple cider vinegar shows about 4.5 while Ammonia showed about 10.5 and a heavy-duty cleaner/detergent showed about 12.5. I just wished it was easier to differentiate between the colors on the package mostly in higher levels of alkalinity where the colors can be very close. The best reading seems to be right after application of the liquid to the strip as the color on the strip can fade away after a minute or so. I like the fact that each strip book comes in a separate packaging which prevents any accidental contamination. I prefer these to the electric pH meters because I don't have to deal with cleaning or calibration.
