Product Description               HDMI 2. 0 REPEATER Doubles the distance when using a standard copper cable with resolutions up to 4K @ 60 4: 2: 0. HDCP DOCTOR Fully licensed and compatible with HDCP 2. 2. Allows the transmission of ultra high definition signals directly from the source even if the sink is limited to HDCP 1. 4. EDID BYPASS The EDID bypass function processes the DDC communication in order to always ensure the best possible image. ULTRA SLIM DESIGN All the technology is integrated into the ultra-slim housing, ideal for installation in furniture or a perfect fit behind the TV set. No external power supply required.  Steps for troubleshooting:  The HDCP converter from PureLink (PT-C-HDCP) has some special features in its use:  The converter can only go from HDCP 2.2 to HDCP 1.4 convert and not the other way around.  The converter can process cable lengths of up to 10 meters on the input side and up to 5 meters on the output side. Make sure you use high-quality HDMI cables.  The converter supports resolutions of up to 4K 60Hz with a maximum color space of 4: 2: 0. It is therefore not possible to reproduce a 4K 60Hz signal with a color space of 4: 4: 4.  The converter cannot always work properly in connection with Sky, because there are constantly new firmware versions. A clear “HDCP handshake” is therefore difficult to implement.  The converter cannot always function properly in connection with Apple devices (Mac), since no resolution can be set there. The "best possible" resolution is always chosen and this is too high for the converter.  The HDCP converter can process cable lengths from the input side up to 10m and the output side up to 5m, longer cable lengths cannot be guaranteed because it is supplied with voltage by the 5V line of the HDMI signal. Pay attention to high quality HDMI cables. There can always be problems with SkyQ, since no clear HDCP handshake can be carried out here (due to constantly updated firmware versions) and Macbook, since the Mac operating system cannot set a resolution and therefore the "best possible" is always selected. The signal therefore exceeds the color space of 4: 2: 0, since 4: 2: 2 is selected by default in 4K. Worked perfectly on my Sony tv which said it had 4k but did not have the right 4k standard HDCP 🤨 as I was an early adopter of 4k.So now I can get a 4k player to see my 4k tv. 👍👍👍👍
