Review: AMAZING PRODUCT! - I have been struggling with my sugar level lately. I went to see my Dr who ran some blood tests and found out my readings were on the over the limit side. He prescribed Januvia in 25mg pills. I was very cautious about taking this drug. I divided the pill in 4 quarters and took a quarter with my dinner. Everything was find until I got home from work that night. After my nightly shower from coming from work I ate an apple and a banana. I had some terrible side effects from the Januvia that I thought I was going to die. The next morning when I wake up I flushed in the toilet the rest of the 90 pills that the Doc prescribed. I did some research on line and came up with this product because of price and quantity. I also read some reviews. I started using the product yesterday 06/26/20 and it dropped my blood sugar from 155mg/dl to 115 mg/dl this morning. Case close I have no more to say! P.S. Be very careful when taking those pharmaceutical drugs that are out there. Do your research and read about the side effects before taking any drugs that might save your life!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How can a nutritional supplement be "pharmaceutical grade" if it is not an  FDA approved pharmaceutical/medication?**
A: Pharmaceutical grade is different than being a an actual pharmaceutical. It applies to how it is manufactured, guaranteeing a certain quality control.

**Q: Made in the usa? the label says take “once a daily.”**
A: Not certain where it is made but I am not a fan of this product.  I switched to the Amazing Formulas which is definitely made in the USA.  It only has 1000 in 2 capsules but it is one of the brands recommended and tested by Consumer Lab for purity.  It depends what you are taking it for as far as dosage.  My cardiologist has me on 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening as I cannot tolerate statins.

**Q: What does the hcl mean?**
A: It means great price, professional-looking bottles, and decent results.

**Q: What is the purity level?**
A: In two capsules you get 1200mg of Berberine HCL. I’ve read that the HCL indicates the berberine has been chemically altered. The only other ingredient is in the capsule itself. vegetable cellulose makes up the capsule.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Got me off my blood pressure medication!

I've had high blood pressure, and have taken medication for it, for 30 years. The beta-blocker medication I've been on for the last 15 years or so has been getting progressively less effective, my blood pressure has been running high even at the maximum dose. I also have issues with lipids and blood glucose. Classic "metabolic syndrome" and pre-diabetic. After much reading and study, I decided to give Berberine a try. Yeah, it's an ancient Chinese herbal remedy, which made my initially skeptical, but in my research I discovered that Western medicine has studied it quite a bit over the last 15 years or so, and it seems to address all attributes of metabolic syndrome. It's been shown to reduce blood pressure, reduce blood glucose, reduce LDL and triglycerides, and increase HDL (the good cholesterol). I need help in all those areas! Within two days of taking this stuff, I noticed I was getting dizzy every time I got up. I checked my blood pressure and was shocked to see it at 90/60! That's borderline hypotensive. Never in my life have I seen a blood pressure that low. I immediately discontinued my beta-blocker prescription blood pressure medication, and kept using the Berberine at 600mg twice daily. My blood pressure settled at about 110/75. So basically perfect. I have yet to get a new blood test to see the effects on my lipids and glucose. I'm hopeful it's helpful on those things, too, based on the studies and clinical trials I've read. But I can say with certainty that this stuff literally fixes my hypertension. It's great to get off the prescription drug after all these years! I'm not saying it'll work for everyone, everybody reacts differently. But it worked for me. It's been a miracle drug for my blood pressure. And I've had no side effects that I can tell.
