The Marantz Stereo 70s looks and sounds fantastic. However, all my excitement diminished when I went to the Marantz website to register for the excellent 5 year warranty. They told me my purchase was not from an authorized dealer so I did not qualify for the warranty?? After much consultation with Amazon support, I was told to call Asurion and sign up for a warranty package. An additional charge on top of my expensive purchase. Unexceptable! This does not happen when you purchase from an authorized Marantz dealership.
