Our dog likes to bark and it was really starting to stress everybody out. This device has a very long battery life, lasting days as it goes into sleep mode until activated. It does not harm the dog (I was worried about this) it just vibrates and makes a beeping noise as a deterrent. It allows your dog to let off 1 or 2 barks without being activated so it doesn't stop all barking, just constant long barking bouts. It really does the job! Even when our dog doesn't have it on he does bark a lot less! Only thing is, it is a bit tricky to use initially but if you read the instructions properly it shouldn't be an issue! This band is better than a resistance band because you can put your fingers through the loops. With normal resistance bands when you get sweaty hands they can slip out of grip.
