The root spray is the best I have tried & I have tried many. The hair mist smells very, very nice. Sprays & goes on like hairspray; however, for volumizing purposes , you section your hair & spray underneath roots & out, then finger hair into place or lightly smooth with a brush. Because the product is so "light," it is hard to over-product your hair.
