I fill them with 91% isopropyl rubbing alcohol, spray 3 times, let it sit for at least a day, and rinse with distilled water (including 3 more sprays to get alcohol out) before filling with first aid spray. If you do intend to use them for medicinal liquid, like I do, I highly suggest sterilizing them first. Great! For the price I’m very happy. No leaks or spills, even in a carryon in a flight across the US. So far all the atomizers have been good. I have bought some 10ml (I think from a different brand) where some atomizers failed and started spitting instead of spraying. Some of the caps can slide off a bit easy, but hasn’t been an issue for me yet
