We will be buying a solid steel pipe/pole - the pole is the problem and will set it back up I’m still giving it 2 stars for the product for how easy it was to put together, however the pole is very flimsy and wobbles at each connecting point with the screws tightened as tight as they will go, so if you’re okay with a wobbly tethered ball game then this product is for you. Review: Terrible Pole Design – Broke Within an Hour - We set this up today and it lasted less than an hour before breaking at the bottom of the pole. The biggest issue is the pole design. The individual sections won’t tighten enough to stay rigid, so the entire thing bends, flexes, and sways with every hit. After about 20 minutes of normal tetherball play between two people, the constant movement caused the pole to fail at the base. It was hilarious to witness. However, not funny enough at this price. 🤣 The ball itself is actually nice, but the pole is a complete waste. If you’re looking for a durable tetherball set, I’d keep shopping.
