I wasn't sure how to use a wand correctly, so I had to look up a tutorial, cause I was used to using curling irons, however this thing works like a dream, and only takes a few seconds to make a lovely curl. It has a cool color, I got the purple. it cools down fast, and it heats up very fast. DONT CHECK IF ITS HOT, IT IS. I do agree with other customers, that I wish it had a stand, so that we could put it down to cool off, but I just put it inside my bathroom sink, or tub until it cools down, after I unplug it, but this is absolutely beautiful, and has done wonders for my hair. I'm very, very pleased with it, and the pros heavily outweigh the cons, and I am a very picky virgo, so trust my opinion.
