It is quite warm and thick enough and has a slightly course textured feel to it. The pattern is in the stitching and this causes undulations in the fabric around the design. I really like the look and design of this, I can't quite explain it but I just feel like it connects with me in some way - that might see like a slightly odd thing for an adult human to say about a piece of cloth, but I really don't know how to explain in any better.The design is striking and although it looks simple but up close is quite intricate. They colours work well together.The only concern that I have is how robust the fringe edges will be and weather it will start to fray. Two of the edges, the selvedges? are well finished with a white thread binding the edge tightly. The other two edges are looser and the last woven thread looked like it was beginning to work its way out through the weave after about a week of use. I have tied 2 strands of fringing together to hold this thread in place every 20cm or so and knotted the fringing at the corners to hopefully prevent this. I want this blanket to be with me a long time.UPDATE - I have had this for 2 years now and I am happy to report that it is still in great condition despite frequent use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful colours *by P***O on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 February 2021* Beautiful colours the same as the picture.
