The auto-close feature works better and more reliably/consistently than any other one I've had. The mechanism to unlatch is really user friendly but definitely baby/toddler proof. The only downside is having to also lift; that may just be a downside for me because of muscle weakness. It's not really a problem, but I wish I didn't have to lift it. (Then again, it also ensures no little ones accidentally get through!) The setup was exceedingly simple, and I really appreciate that the package includes a few width adapters so it really fits well in any opening (within the specified range). I did have a small, seemingly inconsequential plastic piece break off a couple weeks after install. The gate functions normally without it, and it doesn't seem to be a pinch hazard. But I contacted the company (because they would know for sure), and they are sending me a replacement gate for free. So that's amazing customer service. 10/10 would buy again, and would try to buy from them for other products!! Review: Good product - Great product! Installation instructions (online) very vague.
