The hydraulics is actuated by hitting the front or rear bumpers to get the front or rear to pop up. The trunk launching gimmick is pretty smooth if you hit the hood. You can actually put accessories in the trunk as there is plenty of room for ammo or whatever weapons your Joe squad wants to bring. The windshield easily comes off to fit figures. The Rey figure that comes with this set is approx 6” tall but decent arm and leg articulation. Comes with a cross necklace, silver baseball bat and a single crutch. The face mask is molded to the head. The vehicle can fit two figures in the front easily, and I was able to fit Junkyard in the back and another figure sitting on the back just chilling. The wheels roll freely when vehicle is pushed. This was on sale for Black Friday so it definitely was worth the money for the simple enjoyment of mixing toy genres.
