**Q: As stated in a previous review, is there a waxy finish that makes the cards difficult to write on with a regular writing pen?**
A: Hi there!  No, not at all.  Many reviewers have already noted that they used a regular ball point pen or pencil or sharpie.  The only thing we don't recommend is gel pens as they have a tendency to smear on any writing surface. Thanks for checking in!
