Right from that day till date Guruma has never talked to me about spiritualty in general or about my interest or spiritual journey. Only if I were to talk about it would she respond, in other words no attempt whatsoever to try to determine or influence my interest or journey. In those brief moments of interaction, I did not know much about her background, therefore I was keenly looking forward to this book. Her initiation and subsequent spiritual journey are nothing short of fascinating to read about. She speaks about her life and journey in very simple terms, taking care to explain to us, lay persons, the meaning of the various practices and shlokas. In the process she breaks quite a few myths about spiritual practices and also preconceived images about how we perceive yogis.
