Ho acquistato lo Shelly 1PM con l'obiettivo di trasformare il mio impianto elettrico esistente e vecchiotto in un impianto domotico, senza dover rifare tutto da zero. Risultato? Missione compiuta, e con una spesa decisamente contenuta. Le dimensioni sono minuscole, entra senza problemi nel quadro elettrico o nelle scatole dei normali interruttori. Ho potuto mantenere gli interruttori tradizionali già presenti, aggiungendo semplicemente il controllo remoto e le automazioni sopra all'impianto che avevo. La configurazione tramite app è stata questione di pochi minuti: ho collegato il dispositivo alla mia rete Wi-Fi, l'ho aggiunto su Shelly Cloud e subito ho potuto controllare i carichi collegati da qualsiasi parte del mondo. La misurazione dei consumi in tempo reale è precisa e utilissima per capire quanto "pesa" ogni elettrodomestico in bolletta. Un punto di forza enorme è la compatibilità: funziona nativamente con Home Assistant, Google Home, Amazon Alexa e supporta anche MQTT e le API REST. Dopo diversi mesi di utilizzo continuo, nessun problema di stabilità. Il firmware viene aggiornato regolarmente e la community è molto attiva. Per il prezzo a cui si trova, è difficile trovare di meglio sul mercato. Lo consiglio a chiunque voglia rendere smart la propria casa senza rifare l'impianto elettrico.
