This is a cheaply made piece of junk.  It is printed plastic canvas material glued to a plastic backing.  It is not a stiff material, but easily compressed,  and already has a dent warped into it when it arrived.  The spider "fitting" is a clear plastic disk with a hole in it for the harp fitting.
