Perfect size to carry around, the cover is a nice solid but flexible plastic and the lines on the paper are wide-ruled but not too wide, just what I was looking for. It's a gift for my sister and she adores them. Says they fit perfectly in her bag without having to carry around a big notebook. By the way, they are 6.5 x 8 inches, and 140 pages/70 sheets
